A career that started writing code in 1998 and ran through SEO, eCommerce and global brand marketing to founding and leading 1Digital® Agency, and now its move into AI and automation.
The Evolution
My relationship with the digital landscape didn't start yesterday. It started in 1998, writing code for GMAC Mortgage and then Intel, while doing search engine optimization for clients under my own name at DanielKogan.com and selling on eBay on the side. In 2003 I founded the eCommerce company EMODA® and ran it for six years, then went in-house as General Manager and Global Web Manager for SailorJerry.com at William Grant & Sons.
I learned early that survival in this unpredictable industry requires more than just a good design. It demands strategic foresight, relentless optimization, and an ability to adapt faster than the market changes.
That multifaceted background became the foundation for 1Digital® Agency, a team of designers, developers, strategists and marketers working on eCommerce design, custom development, SEO and PPC.
Today my passion and my pride is the business as a whole, and how it has evolved into AI and AI automation. That work is led by WorkspaceCMS.ai, a managed AI CMS built so that a business owner never has to become a webmaster.
